The Peripatetic Tower of Veradauntilus, AKA, the Tower of Death. Centuries

ago, the powerful wizard Veradauntilus isolated themselves in their tower,

initially they were content simply not to engage with the world. The world

had other ideas. Would be adventurers and apprentice hopefuls just kept

showing up. Veradauntilus could take it no longer and they crafted a

massive ritual spell to enchant the tower. Upon completion of the ritual the

tower vanished. Only a small crystal ball remained where the tower

originally stood. Rumors of the tower appearing and disappearing around

the land and the vast treasures contained within began almost

immediately, but, none who have managed to locate it and enter its gate

have ever returned. Now, by fate or fortune the adventurers have come to

possess this key, dare they follow the crystal ball and test these rumors.
